Eugie Foster is a very talented and versitle writer of science fiction, fantasy, horror, and children's lit. Eugie received the 2009 Nebula Award for Best Novelette and was named the 2009 Author of the Year by Bards and Sages. Her short story collection, RETURNING MY SISTER'S FACE AND OTHER FAR EASTERN TALES OF WHIMSY AND MALICE, was published by Norilana Books and can be found on her website at eugiefoster.com. Her works have appeared in Realms of Fantasy, Interzone, Fantasy Magazine, Apex Magazine, Cricket, and Orson Scott Card's InterGalactic Medicine Show just to name a few.

Today's narator, Rajan Khanna is a writer and sometimes corporate wageslave who spends much of his time dreaming of imaginary things. Rajan is a graduate of the 2008 Clarion West Writers Workshop and a member of the NY-based writing group, Altered Fluid. His fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in Shimmer Magazine, GUD, and The Way of the Wizard (among others) and has received Honorable Mention in the Year’s Best Fantasy & Horror and the Year’s Best Science Fiction. Le Fantôme de l'Opéra (English: The Phantom of the Opera) is a novel by French writer Gaston Lerooux. It was first published as a serialisation in "Le Gaulois" from September 23, 1909 to January 8, 1910. Initially, the story sold very poorly upon publication in book form and was even out of print several times during the twentieth century. Iit is overshadowed by the success of its various film and stage adaptations. The most notable of these were the 1925 film depiction, Ken Hill's 1976 musical at the Theatre Royal Stratford East followed twelve years later by Andrew Lloyd Webber's 1986 musical, and Lloyd Webber and Joel Schumacher's 2004 film.

As a child, Mark Onspaugh sat too close to the TV, and now needs glasses. His young brain was irradiated with monster movies, sci-fi and Looney Tunes. DC Comics took care of the rest. Today, he is the writer of the film Kill Katie Malone, a co-writer of the cult fave Flight of the Living Dead, and has several scripts in development. He has sold numerous short stories and essays. He tells people he was raised by wolves, but his parents were nice people who only eviscerated the occasional wayward traveler. Today's narator, Chris Munroe, is a 33 year old actor/comedian who, between shows and dayjobs, likes to play with words and ideas. The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes was an old-time radio show which ran from late 1939 to mid 1947. Most episodes were written by the team of Dennis Green and Anthony Boucher.

John Stanley was the third actor to play Sherlock Holmes, proceded by Basil Rathbone and Tom Conway. Nigel Bruce Played Doctor Watson through the entire series.

Henry van Dyke was born on November 11 , 1852 in Germantown, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Princeton University in 1873 and from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1877 and served as a professor of English literature at Princeton between 1899 and 1923. He was also the pastor of the Brick Presbyterian Church, in New York City, and served as U.S. minister to the Netherlands from 1913-16, right around the beginnings of WWI.
Among his popular writings are two other Christmas stories The Other Wise Man (1896), and The First Christmas Tree (1897). Various religious themes of his work are also expressed in his poetry, hymns and the essays collected in the books Little Rivers and Fisherman’s Luck .

Edgar Allan Poe was born on January 19, 1809 and became an American author, poet, editor and literary critic. Best known for his tales of mystery and the macabre, Poe was one of the earliest American practitioners of the short story and is considered the inventor of the detective fiction genre, as well as the genre of science fiction. He was the first well-known American writer to try to earn a living through writing alone, resulting in a financially difficult life and career. Poe died in 1849, in Baltimore, under mysterious circumstances, but he left us with a legacy of tales of wonder and woe, the marvelous and the macarbe.

Lights Out was one of the first radio series devoted mostly to horror and the supernatural, predating Suspense and Inner Sanctum. Versions of Lights Out aired on different networks, at various times, from January 1934 to the summer of 1947 and the series eventually made the transition to television. It featured two of the most creative writers at the time, Wyllis Cooper, and Arch Oboler.
