- I failed to mention that Dennis Weaver's big break into television and Hollywood was as Chester on the classic western "Gunsmoke" TV show. "Gunsmoke" was on the air for 20 years from 1955 to 1975. Dennis left the show in 1964 after 9 years.
- "Throttle" was co-written by Stephen King and Joe Hill (his son) and was inspired by Richard Matheson's "Duel".
- "Freeway Games" by Orson Scott Card is found in the short story collection Maps in a Mirror.
