  1. INKHEART is based on a book by Cornelia Funke. I read it just last year, and found it totally delightful. It was originally written in German, so I wonder if the film or the characters might have been--

    Nahh, probably not. Anyway, it (like the other two movies you talked about) was part of a series, and I imagine the filmmakers hoped for enough box office to continue the tale. I plan to check out the second book one day, but I fear all three of the films you covered in this episode were not successful enough to warrant (further) sequels.
